My cousin's visit
OK, so I just downloaded a bunch of pictures and I have MUCH to catch you up on (visitors, birthdays, Halloween, parties, etc..). So I better get started.
My cousin Carissa was visiting from Washington State University for a few days and we had a great time. We hit Santa Monica Pier, drove around LA, took Niya to school, celebrated Niya's birthday, and hit Laguna Beach. Here are some pictures from her visit.

Carissa and Macguire at Bubba Gump Shrimp on Santa Monica for lunch. They sung to Niya because we were there on Niya's bday and she freaked out a little bit. But it was fun!

This is completely unrelated but I wanted to show you guys how much ash/dust was in the air during the fires that week. The pool guy was cleaning the pool and I snapped a shot so you could see the before and after. So GROSS!!

A shot to melt a Moms heart
I did my quick look at (ALL) the photos I downloaded and my heart skipped a beat on this one. I don't like to post out of order (because it keeps me organized) but I had to get this up.
Took this one this morning at Disneyland just after we went on the Jungle Cruise. Niya walked up to Mac and said "Bro, hold hands?". So in love with these two kids!

Soccer
Macguire finished soccer a couple weeks ago and I just got around to downloading the pictures. He had a great time and improves every year. Soon he is going to have to pick between soccer and baseball, I am pretty sure it will be baseball but we'll see.

Pumpkin Patch with friends
A week ago we went to the pumpkin patch and had a great time. Macguire was not interested in being photographed so I didn't get much of him. They each got to pick a pumpkin, we also went on a tractor ride and through a corn maze. It was a fun time, but it was really hot!
